hey just put a wiseco piston bored 20 over in my 200x.
started it up runs good on full choke but when put on NO choke it boggs an run's rough like it wants to die. Do i have to go a jet bigger i have a 108 main jet right now.
or what would cause this thanks

Louk its clean i would'nt use a dirty carb on a new toped end....
well if bike only runs on choke there is a restriction in carb does it have a aftermarket exhaust or was it just bored to a larger piston

What does a 2.0 over mean? 20 thousandths, like second cleanup bore?
You shouldn't have to re-jet if it was just a cleanup bore

Louki got the bike to idle on off choke now it just boggs when i give it gas

it was bored 20 over
well if it has stock exhaust and bored 20 over does not need to go up in jet size remove air filter and if it bogs in neutral too spray carb cleaner in carb when it bogs to see if it then revs up if so your carb is not clean

Was it jetted right in the 1st place? And yes, it just takes one tiny particle to clog things up......
Well, the choke gives it more gas and it runs like crap with no choke so isn't that question self explanatory?
If a motor runs great with the airbox lid on but not well with it off, wouldn't that indicate it needs less air or it would need more gas to compensate for the additional air?
Put in a larger jet, don't ask me what size. I have 500$ worth of jets so get out your wallet and buy a few.

DC's total correct of course but who's to say he got his valve/ignition timing on when he did the top end..
Sorry kid, but you got to question everything..go back to scratch and double check your work!!

Check your timing If it is out any it will run poor. DC right to you may need to go up a jet size or two.
