venting rocker box cap and dip stick

new here,have a couple of questions.whats with venting the rocker cap and the dip stick also what are the gains if done.any instructions on how to perform.i own a 78 atc 90 honda.trike runs good but if this will make it better i am all for it.thanks for any help.Tony

Generally, these mods are for big inch stroker engines. With the added displacement and the faster rpms that alot of bigger stroker engines turn, it helps to vent the added air stirred up inside the engine and the head. In a stock trike, it doesn't really help too much at all.
