After a botched attempt are boring the 110 cylinder out for the 56mm Rocky piston I am looking for a new cylinder to give it another shot. I was searching ebay of course they are a dime a dozen on there. My 110 is a 1983. Are there differences in the cylinders for different years of the 110? I know the stock bore should be very close to 52mm, but some of these cylinders I see for the 110 they are listing the measurement of the cylinder bore and some are much larger?

Here is an example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1979-HONDA-ATC110-ATC-110-CYLINDER-CORE-/280612936066?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item4155d59982

Here is also one with a stated measurement of 57mm which is bigger than the Rocky piston lol

All of the 82 and up cylinders I am seeing are close to the standard 52mm bore. Do these earlier 110 cylinders really have a bigger bore to them? Will they still bolt up to the later year 110 bottom and top ends without issue? I find it hard to believe they are any different but I do not know for sure. Can anyone confirm or deny that earlier cylinders are indeed larger or the same and will still bolt on to the top and bottom end of the later year 110's.

Thanks, Steve

That's what I thought shortline. The guy selling those either cant measure, or he's got some bored out cylinders I guess? It isnt even possible to get a 57mm bored on the 110 cylinder is it? lol It was pretty thin when I got mine bored for the 56mm Rocky piston. My cylinder broke at the bottom while my buddy was honing the cylinder. Not sure where we went wrong but the picture shows my misfortune haha. Time for another cylinder I guess.
