Looking to swap my Tecate hubs to TRX450R hubs.
The 450R hubs stop on the end of the Tecate axle splines and there is a 7mm space left over between the end of the hub and the axle hub stop on the axle itself. I remember reading somewhere here about this and hub swaps for the Tecate.
I was wondering if any Tecate guys have made any spacers and can point me to where I can get a set. Thanks in advance.

i just turned a set of 8mm aluminumspacers on my lathe. do you have some friend who works in a machine shop? or has a lathe? i am sure it would be no problem to fabricate one

I would like to make a set for you, but I have never shipped to the us before. I will have to look how much shipping is. I think shipping will be much more than the parts are worth but it should be no problem to make a few

Can you post a picture of how they look? I am sure I can 'hack' out a couple but this is going on my tecate and I am looking for something nice> PM me on the shipping cost maybe I'll buy a few sets from you to make it worth your while.....

I`m a machinist....I can make you a set cheap but I need good dimensions to go by and a tape measurement wont cut it....get me the dims down to hundredths of an inch or metric and I can whip out a pair....maybe you got some 85 T3 parts I need in trade or something

I need spline major OuterDiameter, length, and I can go from there....made some stainless ones for my Durablue R axle since the old ones were missing (adjustable offset spacers)

examples of my work....I definitely don`t hack....last few pics from rear may show my axle spacers

I have made those for mine.

You need a 7mm spacer.

I can measure the in and out diameter if you like, just let me know

Very easy to fix just need on lathe.

this is G Force Extended Rear Wheel Hubs HONDA TRX 450R ATV on a 86 tecate axle

if the 84-85 t3 hubs can fit in the 86-87 t3 axle then you can use it on your 84-85 t3.

IRONCHOP thanks for the reply. [The width should be 8MM the ID is 25MM] The OD of the splines on the axle are 24.55MM and the area where the spacer will reside is 23.75MM OD. It appears the OD of the spacer will need to be 25MM at least so It can slip over the splines to the stop on the axle. As far as the thickness of the spacer I will have to take another measurment because what i wrote down doesnt jive with what I thought was right.

I like the tapered spacers above alexandros nice job. I am using a stock set of hubs from a 2007 450R.
