Well, i bought brothers 185 off him again since his stator and crank seal took a dump and he didnt want to bother with it, so i got it all appart and working well today untill i forgot...!
When i had it going again, the transmission would slam in gear like there wasnt a clutch left, so i tryed to ol' clutch adjustment... bolt would not move! so i took a visegrip and got it to move, i have a clutch now, it works well ! .... But when i take off in 1st the engine revvvs then it catches and goes.... its almost like starting off in a higher gear, it will slip untill it grabs..
Would this be my clutch still or the friction wheel/ centrifual clutch slipping ? Theres no load what so ever on the engine it runs great in all other gears, just first and sometimes second will slip at a low speed.
Also maybe this would help too... when i shut down the engine, you can hear a vvrrrrrrrrrrrrrr THUMP ! everytime i shut it down, sometimes when i pop it in gear when i shut it off the bike will jump ahead when that noise is happening... and uppon gearing down or coasting down a steep hill the engine will act as if my shifter is being held down or like in neutral. Any info would be appreciated, ive got tonnes of parts to solve my problem, just need some pin pointers. Ive compared this bottom end with another with the same head on each.

you can hear a vvrrrrrrrrrrrrrr THUMP

That is the one-way bearing in the centrifugal clutch that is locked up and/or damaged. My Big Red did the exact same thing. I replaced the one-way clutch (as Leevarnado suggests) and it corrected this issue.

Sounds to me like your 1st gear take off issues are centrifugal related too.
