Ticking valves on a 1986 KLT 185

Hello--I adjusted the valves on my KLT 185 according to specs and they are still ticking, any ideas?

She's getting old and letting you know LOL . When the parts get old/loose in the valve train they get a little noisy . Did you check the timing chain ? maybe its slapping around and causing the noise . A heavier oil will also help out a little .
