#1 I just put on new sprockets and chain 12 front 35 rear 72 links and I still can't get the adjustment to move enough to take out the slack? Do I need to start removing links?
#2 I have an 85 ATC70 and I got it running by cleaning out the carb. It still did not run to what I thought it should. I went ahead and got some new points and condenser and installed the points. I set the gap at .014 got it fired up and ran it..it just seems like it don't want to wind all the way up. I can go through all the gears but it just don't seems like its really running hard. I took it back down and am trying to set the points with a light like they show on Glamisdunes site but the light don't really seem to dim anywhere when I rotate the flywheel. Also I did not change the condenser because I figured I am getting fire at the hole...should I do that and why?
Thanks for any help. I think these things are going to be a blast once I get them dialed in:(
