225 dx with timberwolf 250 jug

has anyone done yhis? im about to start the project and wanted some input

i was going to but no one offers a high compression piston for the timberwolf jug.

ytm 225 high compression piston 10:25.1 at 223.6 cc

yfm250 piston 8:7.1 at 229.6 cc

i did a little research and it seems you can get a high comp 71mm piston for the 225 and i belive that is the standard bore of the 250. not sure yet

you are right but its not easy finding a good std bore yfm250 jug,the ones i found are either already on a oversize are needing one..search through my threads i have talk about this before.

I bought a cylinder kit off Amazon and ported and polished the head. Super impressed
