Anybody else have issues fitting there FMF pipe and silence? With my pipe resting in its naturaly position - the silencer, when fitted on to the pipe points away from the bike and the mounting tab is about 7/8 - 1" from lining up with the frame hole.....its really not even close. Wonder if I could have gotten the wrond silencer?

I just took some pics and will have to get them off the cam to post but I did a little research and it is the wrong silencer. Its for an 88 TRX250r - Dennis Kirk catalog says it wont fit and thats the case.

Bought the silencer in 2003 - oddly enough I have the reciept for it. Just called Dennis Kirk and they are going to exchange it for me. I'll just have to pay the restocking fee of $9.99

Simply awesome.

wow that's service. Most companies would say you were SOL

Are they cheaper now that in 2003? Seems that with eBay killing prices for parts suppliers the price of everything not discontinued has come down

You know I wanna say my '03 reciept listed it at $95 and the current price is $90.99 so I guess it did go down in price a little.

I had same issue but I ended up taking a piece of sheet metal and made a bracket to make it work. Dont know if it was meant for a trx or the atc.
