I need to change 6 or 8 fork boots on 85+ model BR and sx's.

I also see they are NOT cheap, like 30$ a set?

Any suggestions?

I have one that someone actually used an innertube to cover them
but that won't really work for me.
All the other trikes will make fun of them, for sure.

It's always a good time to rebuild the forks with fresh seals IMHO......

Some of the OEM boots are 30$ each, so 60$ per set.

BTPAGE on EBAY makes a decent boot for your SX type forks, Dr ATV may have some shorter black boots for other types of forks.

Sorry,,this goes without saying to me! If your 25 yo boots are toast,,so are your seals. Some people will get lucky and they won't leak for a cpl years,,,,but... You're right there!

And are they the same boots BTPAGE has been selling on ebay??

I've bought a few sets from him.
