what intake can i use to adapt to the 38mm carb from a yz, on the wrench report it says an IT 250 but i cant seam to find such a thing.
is there a boysen rage cage or v forse3 setup, or what oem boot might mate my cage to the bigger carb.

thanks for any info

heat up the boot with a heat gun or hair dryer...and stuff it in... it will be just fine.

What Raffa told you is what I did on mine then clamped it tight so there isnt a chance of it pulling off!

You can also put some WD40 (not oil!) on the inside of the boot with your finger to make it go in a little easier. Heck, KY and some sweet talk might work too, the whole process is quite intimate:)

You can also open up the boot with a Dremel and a sanding drum (if it's off the engine) A 38mm carb won't do you any good unless the boot is close to the same size. I don't know how much you need to remove as mine was butchered when I got it, but there is HP to be had in doing this.

Here's something that pisses me off... So the wrench report says IT250K (83MODEL) I ordered one and it cost me a small fortune and there's no way it'll work, it kicks the carb towards the pipe just like a YZ jug would. Frustrating
