on my 85 250r the right (when sittin on it) fork tends to leak and the stop the start again, there is an air type fill up insert could i put compressed air in that fork or will i screw somthin up

Yeah, like 2PSI which will make it leak more.

Time for a rebuild; suspension cannot be ignored forever.......

its just the one fork thoghit prolly shoulfd be rebuilt but it has that valve stem type deal on it and thats leakin a little bit

If it's leaking from the valve stem you can tighten the valve stem itself. Most of these forks haven't had the seals replaced in a long time. Sounds like it's time to replace the fork seals.
