I had my trike running 2 days ago but I can't for the life of me get it to turn over today. It's really humid here in Jersey today, could that be the issue?

Any thoughts would be great,

KingPaul

PS. The gas is on, gas in the tank, switch to run.

Define turn over, usually when it doesn't turn over, its siezed. But i think you're just talking about it is not starting up?

if its humid enough it will effect it. its happened to me with my 200s i had. i just took the lid of the air box off and she would fire up.

Correct, it's just not starting. It seemed to want to start once but died right away. I opened the air box but still nothing. I guess I'll try again tomorrow. Maybe it will be less humid. It's CRAZY humid here today.

that would be the thing to do. i wouldnt go tearing into it until you know for sure if something is wrong or not.

Why don't you supply more info? Get a new plug. Check all your electrical connections. Take off and clean up your ground. Pull your plug and check for spark. Clean and oil your air filter. Adjust your valves. Adjust your timing. Get a shop manual. Change your oil and clean your oil screen.

I would start by putting a new plug in it, I have had mine run awesome when put away, then the next day not start after 30 pulls, new plug, first pull it starts.

The plug is two weeks old, the gas cap vent is on. I'll try again tomorrow as my wife will kill me if I keep messing with it.

Thanks & we'll see what tomorrow brings

2 weeks old dont mean anything on an old Honda, plugs foul easy in those old hondas.

Huh? How do plugs foul easily? My 125m has the original spark plug still..
And its a 4 stroke... you gotta be pretty bad at jetting to foul a plug in a 4 stroke...

You need a new NGK D7EA plug. If it fouls it again, you need a carb.

Issue is the valves being out of adjustment, not jetted wrong, at least that is what I have been told, For $3 I would try it, If I'm wrong keep that plug as a spare.

This mook hasn't even said if he's tried pulling the plug and laying it against the head while in the coil wire and trying to start it to see if he has spark! The only thing tomorrow will bring is more nonsense.

Well, he also gave the famous girl statement "it won't turn" over and I love when I'm told "it just won't catch...."

We aren't remote rocket scientists here. Do you have spark, at the right time, a good plug wet with fuel??

Thats what needs to be talked about. I RARELY change my 4 stroke plugs..............

Neither do I ! However,,we'll find he has a fouled plug,it will start 1st or 2nd pull W a new one. And probably have the same result in a few weeks.. The horse is beat enough now!! Slow Sat night!

how much do you want to bet he has moisture either in his kill switch or in the cdi connector, and it is shorting out the ground. It's amazing what di-electric grease can do with things

Well "This Mook" tried it again this morning and guess what Veal Monkey, No More "NONSENCE"!!! It started right up. Thank Booblinker for the advice, I'll probably get an extra plug just to have around. I don't know if DirtCrasher noticed that I'm a "New to the Board" so I might not have the correct terms yet. My Bad.
I'm on other information board and when I find a post that doesn't make sense to me, I either ask a simple question or I don't reply. I try not to be a D@*K to someone that asks a question, Especially if they're new. But for the rest of you that tried to give me some leadership, I thank you.

I'll think twice about posting here again
