Thanks guys, I've always wanted an original '87 B.R. that was in great condition. It even came with the Hondaline front rack basket too!

Haha I kinda like the front basket, I know I'll find a use for it(beer holder) :beer The rear tires are practically new, but I like the oem tires better...gives it a cushier ride and all. I ended up giving 14 bills for it...couldn't pass up an original good condition '87.

Lol, just saying. yes your bike looks great, it's hard to find for being an 87 but i found one in nearly my area for 87 atc 250es big red, i am thinking about to grab that bike up maybe.. but i do have two 1986 honda big reds, they are tank and most bulletproof bikes ever made and i love it...

Awesome BR man! I've been looking for one of those front baskets for my 87. I have a couple OEM Ohtsu tires that are in decent condition. You can have them cheap if you want to pay shipping from MN. I don't know how prices down south are, but thats a great price for a nice original 87 around here.. Congrats!

Hey thanks man, yeah there is just something about the '87 Big Reds that I like. Yes, I am definitely interested in the tires, I'll send you a PM shortly. If I see another basket, I'll be sure to let you know!

Damn man I just noticed you are in Baton Rouge. Where in the hell did you find this? I always check La Sportsman classifieds and Craigslist and ebay. Did you buy this from Bryan in Pierre Part? (for all you non coon asses, Pierre Part is the name of a town (that was named after a dude) in South Louisiana)

Hey, I actually found this one on craigslist...it was in Bunkie, LA. The guy has another '87 like this one for sale, it has a plastic tank and a hondaline front basket like mine does. I saw a pretty clean '87 pop up on craigslist today that is in Watson too. They're out there surprisingly.

I see in your signature that u had an 87 350X. I bet that was nice. I have a mint 85. You seem to see the 87 200X alot but the 350X and 250R appear to be tough to find.

Yeah the '87's are getting harder and harder to find nowadays. I think that once people get a hold of one of them, they don't sell them.
