i have a 1985 honda 250 big red with really low hours, brand new battery, camo, its snorkled all the way, 2" wheel spacers, 28" outlaws and SS wheels, and a 2.5" lift. this thing is BAD. goes through everything. its only been used a few years of its life because a year or two after it was bought brand new the old owners daughter got her leg caught so they parked it, and thats where it sat for 20+ years till i found it. it took an hour to get running. cleaned carbput fresh gas in a different tank, changed the plug and she fired right up. i cleaned up the stock tank and Kreemed it so its working now. anyways i got offered 1200 with stock tires. i know it could bring more if i did some work to the back fenders. but i know a guy with a 1999 300 fourtrax thats rebuilt and hes asking $1000 because he needs the money. keep in mind ive never owned a fourwheeler (except for a fixer upper that i havnt touched), ive always had 3 wheels. i still have a 1986 350x in amazing shape. but should i sale it and get the fourtrax and put my outlaws on it? or should i keep the old beast. i know it will go through more than the fourwheeler but i just cant decide what to do
oh and for anybody interested i have a 06 honda foreman 500 for sale runs, needs computer checked out, ESP isnt working right. $450 obo

The fourtrax 300 is like a big red but slower, its got tons of stump pulling power, very reliable, and will go just about anywhere (SLOWLY). I've got one and love it, if the fourtrax is in good shape it's probably the better deal. That being said I'd still have a hard time trading lol

Is this a serious question? KEEP THE BIGRED. Trust me when i say you will regret it. There is nothing you can do with that quad, that you can't do with your bigred.
Trx's are everywhere, your Bigred gets rarer every second of the day, when some idiot breaks a part.

I think you already know the answer..if you need to ask us there is more than enough doubt in your mind.
If you make this a logic based decision part are not ready to part with it, you'll regret it!!

Keep the Big Red, buy the Fourtrax, and do an engine swap and have a 300 Big Red!
