I'm looking for the owner of this tecate, I had the pic stored in my computer and wanted to make one simailar. this bike looks awesome! I'd like to find out what bike the rear fender came from.

Hey, that rear fender sure looks like a radically trimmed & painted stock rear fender to me. Same for the front.


The one on yours, of course, is the low profile Maier aftermarket fender.

I remember that tecate being on ebay a while back. If I remember correctly I think he said he used the rear fender from a Tecate 4. It looks sweet! :twisted:

ya Im pretty sure those are stock rear fenders that he cut up like Jeb said. It is a pretty cool design he has got going there. ---Joe 8)

I have a buddy that will paint my tank and plastics for 500.00 if I do all the sanding and most of the prep work. I just need to figure out the scheme I want to do. that bike looks pretty nice. I might have to try to hack up that extra set of plastic I have for practice.

that bike was on e-bay awile back, it think they were rapter fenders, not stock

Those are not raptor fenders. Look right above the kick starter. same shape as stock 84/85. So is the curve of the rear fenders. Also, it's got the clearance for your leg because Tecates kick rear ward like dirt bikes. The trim on back makes them look like allot different.
