tri again

Got an email from a lady who has a trike for sale but the
'secondary trans' blew up' on the first ride.
Whatever that means.
Any ideas before I call her back?
other than what IS it? year/model etc.
She called it a yamaha shaft 3 wheeler .
Anything special I should look for when I go over there?
Thanks

problay a 225 dx or dr if she means the shaft blew up i wouldnt get it unless you have another great rear end.. the shaft drive can be expensive to fix even with used parts

I think she bought it, saw the 'shaft (drive) sticker on it
and is calling it a yamaha shaft.
She might not even know it has no chain.
but her comment about the secondary trans blowing up
makes me think of a honda subtrans like the hi lo of a 90 or 110
or the actual subtrans of a 84 big red or 125m
with the extra gearbox and reverse bolted to the side of the orig
models.
idk
I just want to be careful when talking to her.
Sounds like she's ready to push it into traffic. so I'd like to give her some hope.
