I just got an 84 200x and was wondering if any other wider axles will fit it,
like 250r or 350x.also wondering about rear shock, would like to make it sit a little higher.will anything else fit it?

I heard of a guy with 350X suspension in his 200X Its a great upgrade if you ask me.

would I have to change the whole rear end to do that?or will the 350 shock bolt rite up?it might be easier to change the whole thing that way I would have the wider axle also.

Putting a 350x shock into a 200x isn't too difficult, but there is a mod that a has to be made.
The bracket that bolts the shock to the swingarm has to be changed. The pivot point for the shock needs to be lowered to accommodate for the added length of the 350x shock.
I took the 350x bracket (witch is wider and shorter) and narrowed it (where it bolts to the swingarm) by grinding it down.
Then I cut one end off. Using the 200x bracket as a gig, I welded a piece of 1" x 1/4" bar stock into the gap and added a small gusset.

After you modify the bracket its pretty much a drop in fit. And one hell of an upgrade. Especially if you weigh a little too much for the stock 200x.

I would say that doing this mod will add about 2" to your fender clearance
and eliminates ever bottoming out your fenders.

Heres a pick of the bracket mod

Thanks for the info,It sounds and looks fairly easy. Will the trike sit real funny if I leave the stock front on it?I need to get new wheel bearings, and
was wondering about differnt axles.is it possable to fit a 250 or 350 axle in
the 200 carrier with proper bearings?Oh ya how much different is the trx
250r shock than the 350x?I allready have 1 set up for me and would only need the 350 piviot if they are the same width.

I'm not sure what It would look like with the stock front after the rear shock mod, But I don't think it would look funny. I don't think that the 250r shock would work without extensive modifications. Maybe you could trade it for a 350x shock. If you want a wider axle why not buy an extended 200x axle or even axle extenders.
