Had the camera out for the flood the other day. And my son was rearranging some stuff,so I grabbed these. I know they suck! I will get singles Someday.. Just a few. It gets tiring when you've got a 1000 other things you need to be doing! Not even sure which all ones are in these pics,,but I think I know. The only one here ever touched/painted,is the 86 X . Which obviously needs ALOT! To be correct. A very,very,nice machine nonetheless! Enjoy..

The tank looks like it might have been painted (unless that's the lighting) and it has two lines of text. The only bike that it could match in the following link is the 1985 KXT 250 TECATE-3:

85 Tecate,yep,it's been painted also. Forgot that was outside that day. Big Reds are hands down my fav also. I have 7 or 8? Plus at least 3 in parts. We adopted our son : ) Not sure I could go thru that again... They DON"T get rode,,only in the snow and once or twice around the dry lawn once in a while. Glad you guys likie.. Will snap some more someday with a different lineup. Any volunteers wanna have a barn cleaning and organizing??!! We'll feed ya!

Thanx Doug,,I know you don't like em shiny..But all mine are put away,,so they have to be coated with anti corrosion.. We have to drive over an hour each way to town,,,but it's worth it...

My property here is in town..postage stamp size!! But my folks own a 50 acre piece of property 45 minutes from me..ranging from farm field, bush, river flats, ravines..rural dirt roads. That is where I and my family do alot of my riding.

You got it made..very nice! Love those rolling hills..you got the best of Appalachia right at your back door!!

It is nice to see original good quality machines.On the other hand I like to ride mine.Personally can't justify all that money to stare at them.My machines are not show pieces but look pretty good cleaned up after using them.Nice collection though.

As with all of them,,what a story! I got her a few months back. Guy swore it was a 15 hr bike. He lived,,and still lives,,in a farm house next to the owners of the farm where he lives.. He went with them To ECP Honda in Elmira NY to buy it new. She got the mail with it a few days,,it sat in the garage.. Then the barn,,,he bought it from them a few years back. Put a fresh battery in it. Looked at it this summer,,said man,,,there she sits under the same cover for How many years!! I'm selling it. So,,I pay him,,I say,,,It's mine,I own it right? He says yeppers. I say,,no way that's a 15 hr bike! He got Furious!!! I was THERE the day it was unloaded new. I was there,,,whenever it was rode!! That machine has,,,NO WAY>>> 25 Hrs MAX !!!! He was insulted! He calmed down,,I said ok,,,the last ride,,,what did you do with it? I got the mail! I said,,winter time? Yep! Played around on the hard road? Yeah,,I think>.. I had seen some rust under the bottom of the skid,,that concerned me,,discerning it from new. As I rode it across the driveway,,it was TOTAL deja vu !! The way the NEW seat felt,,the way the NEW Honda Grips felt! The way it ALL felt together!! UNREAL!! So,,I put 2 and 2 together,,the NY salt will cost me a cpl hours when i clean her up... Oh ,,yeah,,I HAVE NOT cleaned that bike.. That is the way I bought it! WAIT till I get out the luster lace and detail her!!! She smells just like the old days walking thru Honda of Wellsboro... That new trike smell! And make NO mistake! They smelled different,, ATC's smelled different than the new Quads do! I can tell the smell of a Polaris form a Honda,,from a Honda ATC . Everytime. Ceaser,,well documented. 250ES, I can list the machines I HAVEN"T rode,, The Tigers, Although I was suppose to own a 200 : ( ..Cagivas,KLT185. I have owned,rode and raced around, most of them. The Big Red is an amazing machine. I have fixed 1000's of miles of fence,,chased cows twice day everyday,,field to field.. BUT<<I have SPORT rode them easily over 10000 miles,,I would guess over 20000 total. I am at home on them. Love the 350X'S ! Love the 200X,and all 250R's. But Big Red 's my fav.

Actually,,,that one is quite disappointing,and 100% MY fault,,"as always!" My son found her on 2 flats.. Too many irons in the fires.. If they sit flat,,they're junk in NO time. That's another one that has NOT been detailed. Ok,The ONLY one in that pic that's been gone thru and detailed,,is the 200X,,and I did Zero of it.. The Yammie needs the carb cleaned,, some decals,and for me 3 new tires. I assume I can't get them anymore,,but I will find them. If anyone aspires to do work like Mike at Vintage Motorsports,,or correct oe restores. I will gladly take pics of stuff exactly the way it came from the factory. The 1st time : ) .. On the ones I know to be virgin. However,,don't hold your breath waiting for me. Everyone has busy lives. Everyone has troubles. But I'm trying to keep things afloat here with 6 special needs people in our house,,so things pop up,,Every few minutes,literally. Now,,If I got off this thing,,and went out and worked even more//........ If I'm sitting,,I seem to be on here lately : )

Hands down the best I have found is "SILCOLENE" Pro Prep, you can spray it on plastic ,metal and even the engine. It doesn't dry up and brun off the engine, its not greasy an it puts a supurb even shine on your bike. Its a Aerosol can spray and a bit expensive but well worth it. The best in my book.
