cut off the Useless 4th tire off.. Mount the 3rd in front of you. Less weight = More Speed
Come on man don't talk like that everyone has been so nice

Do you have a aftermarket pipe and silencer? K&N filter w wrap and lid removed will wake it up some. Did you get spark back?
Still waiting on stator won't b in til Tuesday do have fmf gold and fatty

It's all good, from what I have read the TRX engine is basically a slightly less powerful ATC250R engine and I know there's lots of guys around here that have experience with 250R engines.
Yea everyone here is helpful I'm on trx250r.net and there's no help no one is ever on there

Well,,,You have a pipe ,silencer, carb and .40 over,,it should fly! Again,A K&N filter w a wrap, and airbox lid off helps, Watch your plug for a good burn and you may need to feed her more fuel. Next would be porting and head work.. How much compression does it have? Is it fresh? The fresh stator should wake it up!
Don't know how fresh top end is but does rip when cold hopefully stator will change when its warm I've rode it twice for 5 min each
Gonna replace reeds this fall sometime

Reeds will help,,,but my money says they're already changed.. That's why I didn't mention them. A full cage would help. But i bet it just needs tuned in. Let us know how it works after you put the stator in. After 7 minutes or so,pull your plug. It should be a light black to brown, ideally. If it's white or tan ,you're too lean . Stop and rejet. We'll go from there. In the meantime,,look it all over good. Drain your engine oil, flush your engine out with gas, diesel, kerosene. That will get all the clutch grit out. Put a good oil in it. Clean and oil your air filter. Be ready when your parts come in.
Bought it from my brother he did all that just before I bought it all done he said it needs a stator gas and get on and haul Ass
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

WHY DON'T YOU HELP THE OP, instead of commenting on other users replies??? You have a lot of experience with the 250R engines judging by the bad ass machines you put together.

i think you are asking the wrong questions if you only have 2 five minute rides on the trx,,,, and this is not the way you do a plug chop!!!
After 7 minutes or so,pull your plug. It should be a light black to brown, ideally.
so keep reading and do a search,, there is alot of good info here...

Make sure your jetting is right before you give it hell, try a plug chop:
http://www.kawtriple.com/mraxl/carb/plugchop.htm
If all checks out right, then I say give it hell before you mess with it.
Wow there's a lot of help but hard to come by ha ha between all the bickering lol
Carb was rebuilt less than a month ago and set for the .40 over so that's all good my brother rode it a bunch over winter but when it warmed up out side that's when he stRted having problems with it

boring the cylinder does not require rejetting unless it was wrong before the reason for boring. so reffering to it being .40 over has no effect on tuning. what all has been done to it? since it was your brothers you have history. i also think you need to ride it and get use to it,, what kind of riding are you going to be doing. it all makes a difference in the way you build a motor. "WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK" IF YOUR BUILDING MORE POWER FORGET THOSE WORDS.... because it costs money to go fast,,, you mentioned a stroker crank,,, thats an easy $700 upgrade then you need a carb $200 and a better pipe $300 and silencer$100 how much do you want to spend to go fast???????
Well not to sure but I agree do need to ride will mainly b like small motocross or ice race dunes all around play bike he re jetted cause it was off and needed done will know more next week
