We went to some rumage sales yesterday and I bought a truckload of Atc's. I must be a glutten for punishment since I have so many projects going and am so busy as it is. In the last month alone I have bought over 20 trikes. The 1984 atc 70 runs and rides and came with a decent set of unbroke or cracked fenders, but needs tires. The atc 110 is all rebuilt just needs a cleaning and a seat cover. It has brand new rear tires also, and yes they are trail pro's. The 200x is a hurtin unit, it has been neglected in almost everyway except for daily pounding's. It does have a soild engine. I also scored the 200x fender bracket for $10 and a set of Big Al's brake shoe's for a 110 or 90 tag is not readable, for $2. heres some pics they are not the best as I took them right as I unloaded them and it was getting dark.

With the 3 machines and parts, some not pictured, brake stuff for 83-85 200x mainly, i have $405 total in the load. I thought that was pretty good for 3 running atc's. Since around here 70's seem to bring $300 + in this ones condition alone. Rewinds for them bring $100 or more, and I needed another front fender for one. I now have 3 complete 84 atc 70's. One is all redone that my 4 year old rides, and I am going to do up another 84 for his brother. I have a 74 I was going to redo, but the later ones are a lot easier to get stuff for. I must have 25 110's now.

I have an amazing wife that spots stuff as we drive. We were driving around over Labor day weekend and my wife yells, stop. I pull over and ask why, she tells me about a dirt bike or three wheeler behind a garage. I drive past the place and can not even see it yet alone know what it is. I ask her if she is sure there is something there, and she says yes, I saw handle bars. i go to the house and the guy goes yea, I gots an old dirt bike back there. Tells me a price and I say lets go see what it is. Wound up getting a 1974 Yamaha MX 100 in pretty nice shape needs a seat cover and a new flywheel.

Yupp, I got started with 3 for 400 13 yrs ago.

My nemesis is tires. They usually cost more than the trikes I get.

Been riding the 110 around, had to put a differant front tire on and clean the carb, also put a nicer tank on it. Now what to do with it. Have not touched the other two yet.

Not really farming, we have goats, birds and raise some beef from time to time, rent the land. That barn is pretty much full, it has about 500 snowmobiles in it. Between the barn and the pole building that is attached to it, they house 70 some three wheelers, 50ish dirtbikes, and about 10 of the 4 wheeled things.

500 Snowmobiles?! Is this what you do, buy things and Flip em? Thats been my addiction with trikes lately. I find such a good deal I can't pass it up, (because some people don't know what they have with ATC's) and give them a good scrubbing and sell them for a couple hundred more! Gets my mechanic skills up, and I get to work on the bikes I love!

Diesel whats cheap? I have been in the sled bussiness for many years. I had a # of 4 wheelers and got a Yamaha 200 on trade and loved it, I can pull sleds around inside and make tight turns a 4 wheeler can only dream about. That is what got me onto trikes mainly. Some sleds just are pated and some I completly restore. Usally around my parts you do not find the threewheelers like I have been latley. We have 1000's of miles of trails and lots of farms so if you see them for sale they are expensive, destroyed or both.

I have a 74 I was going to redo, but the later ones are a lot easier to get stuff for.

They're not that hard to get, I restored one over the winter. I think I spent around $1300 on it, but I put a new Lifan engine in it. I got the motor and a new set of fenders from Dr ATV, and the exhaust and some other hard to fing parts came from Australia (ATC Heaven maybe?... can't remember). I'll try to rember to get some pics up.... I think I got the bearings from a Bumper to Bumper store.

Are you interested in parting out your 200X you picked up? I'll buy the rear plastic and the two front shocks without the triple tree, and O' your entire resr bake set-up (rear master cylinder, rubber brake-line which goes back to the rear brake caliper, the rear caliper and the rear brake disc. My name is Glenn and if you can just give me shout on what your plans are. Sincerly Glenn Wilson

Yea, remington 70's are hard to find by me also, even though I have 4 complete ones. As far as $1300 being cheap to redo a 70 that is about 1100 more than I want to stick in it. It is for my son to ride. Two boys racing around the yard on atc 70's stuffs bound to get wrecked. I have everthing to do a real nice 84 up already minius new decals. wilsonphish pm sent.
