tri-z hose help!?!

yup im an idoit and didnt lable and cant figure out where two hoses go. i have the two hoses on the engine one on each side of the cylinder. look like small breather or suction line for fuel pump?? only other opening i have is on top of the fuel pump and it dont seem right. been studing diagrams in service manual and cant make heads or tails of it. thats for your help guys.

the line on the right side of the engine, at the bottom of the jug, is the vaccum for the fuel pump. on mine it connects to the nipple on the pump facing the front of the machine.
the line from the left side, on the case near the bottom of the jug, is a gearcase breather.

its an 85. you guys will get a kick out of this. i put the back part of the fuel pump upside down so the vacume nipple was facing the rear and was on top. it was throwing me off and none of the hoses reached it.lol yup i know idiot. thank you for the replys
