I picked up two big reds a couple of weeks ago a running 87' 250es and a 86' 250es parts bike??
i've got so many projects on the go i'm thinking about selling them!! :wondering
I'm in the UK by the way!

Price? Pics? Willing to trade? Also wrong section i think. If u have to many projects i would sell, Or store it away. However Depends on Prices to ship and what u would liek for them, I might be interested..

You lost your mind man..it would cost you a pretty quid to ship those from the UK to the US. More than they're worth I'd wager!!!

They need a resto, the engine in the 87' runs ok but when you rev it, theres a rattling noise not a knock?? and the rear fender isnt much good, all the racks are good and front light, original bars and controls!
And the diff is bad in the 86' axle as it was swapped into the 87' to keep it going.
i'll get some pics up tommorow

Keep them... the rattle in your motor could just be a stretched timing chain, or valves adjusted... and its an 87 man! Keep it... Unless you need the cash..

I've checked the valve gaps and they are fine!

Nothing beats a 250es... make a nice one and store the parts... at least that's what a hoarder like me would do :lol:

i'm struggling for enough room for everything otherwise i wouldnt even think about selling them..

not so many 86' and 87's aroud in the U.K. mostly 85's
