Thats the CBX engine. Kind of obscure these days, but really neat. I dont doubt the price of it. Parts are difficult to find for them.
Engine was based off of the Honda RC166. One of my Favorite motorcycles. 250cc Inline 6 34mm Bore X 34mm Stroke 60HP!
They sound amazing. Even the CBX sounds great with an exhaust system.
Heres some Examples

EDIT: honda harry, thanks for the vids. checked out the Kawi 48cyl can't see how they'd reach the bars, but that is just too crazy.

I remember seeing CBX's every now and then. I haven't seen one in person in years.

That is one sick machine. You can just hear the raw horsepower pouring out of those exhaust pipes in a mechanical symphony. It seems like every time you think it's on redline he twists it up a little more. Breathtaking.

I'm tempted to re-post that pulling vid in Trikesylvania. That thing is insane. If I find it, it's not going to make it back to the original owner!!!

they are hard to find parts for but I have seen running bikes in good shape for about 3K. a 1000cc 6 cylinder sounds alot better than they perform. they were a strong bike but more of a novelty.the race vids make me think of a honda 125 race bike I only read about 20 years ago. revved to 23,000 and had 21 gears top speed was around 130 I believe. like I said it was 20 years ago I read about it
