A really nice " Barn Find !!!"

Ok,,1st off,,this is my 1st time posting pics,,so,they're prolly a mess! So,I struck a deal to buy 3wheelinfools 4 ATC's. I had a 86 Red to pick up at Ty's. And my daughter had a Cardiology appointment. When we go out,we pack the day! So,,I get all 5 ATC's loaded up and head towards home. Stop at a Wendy's we've never been to before. A guy pulls up,,looks like you're a 3wheeler nut! I agree. He says any interest in a 84 250r. I say yes. He gets out his cell to take my #,I say can we go now? He thinks,,it's covered in pigeon crap and filthy. Hasn't been touched in years. I say not a problem! I have 2 hours to get there and back to the Cardiologist! We pull up to a beautiful old farm,and there she is upstairs,all alone,,newer roof on the barn. At 1st glance,I know it's coming home with me,unless he's WAy out there. He says no point in trying to start it,I agree!! Looked in the tank,,shinier than new,,,and smells like,,,GAS ! Not sludge?? SO here she is,,Started 1st kick after laying her on her side : ) The throttle and spacers are for sale or trade on the classifieds. I have the 3 Pro Link decals and # plates on the way. Need stock bars and throttle : ) I payed WAY too much for everything that day,,,but they're mine.

I 'm of the firm belief it's noones business what I pay for my stuff! But to play nice,, I paid $600 w title. I will have just North of a grand in it when all the decals get here,,and that is NOT counting the entire day Saturday I put into it! My labor aint free!! So,,like I said,,I payed too much,,BUT,, could not BE happier! WHAT an example of what the 84 R was! I love it! Not a drop od paint went on the original machine!! I repainted the DG pipe,,that is IT! ALL original!

ahhh you did well on the price. even though labor aint free, its for the love of the trikes. that comes with owning everyone. if we all counted those hours trikes would be worth tens of thousands.

Photobucket is a ton easier.. they give you the links (IMG tags) to click on and paste.

For yours go to the page with each pic at its largest size. right click on the pic and click on "properties"

A window will pop up with the address (URL) on it. Highlight it and right click and copy it.. http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/1201/sany0387.jpg then go to your reply to thread you need to add image tags

paste the address here and paste the address in between the IMG tags..

Thanx Brian,,I am very happy with it to say the least! I'll get more pics when it's done : ) Decals,,,possibly stock skid,,and I'm really fighting the urge to touch up the engine and frame boot rubs!! It is that nice in person! But I'm not gonna paint anything.. I just don't think I should. then it would be like every other resto. I'm leaving it JUST the way it has lived,,other than the stickers on the rear fenders and Pro Link on the swingarm. And Thanx Doug,,I have a photobucket account,,I will keep playing around. I have a Apple,,so no right click here? I may figure it out!

GMC truck and a 12 ft v trailer. I consistently haul 4x4 quads and 1 3 wheeler on the trailer,and 1 or 2 machines in the truck. Brought home 7 quads last lot I wholesaled,,,those days are long gone : (
