Anyone know about atc 90 spark advance mechanism?

The manual just mixes between the cdi and points models and tells me nothing.
I guess I could just take it apart and let stuff fly across the room.

Also guessing it may be a spring loaded plate under the points plate?

yes. its under the points plate,, and nothing will go flying,,, just make sure its clean and free,, as it spins the weights fly out to advance the timing ,, make sure the springs are in good shape too,,, you can turn the points cam and watch the weights move make sure they are working freely........

CENTRIFUGICAL FORCE ADVANCES IT.. WILL BE A MECHANISM IN SIDE IF THE SPRING ARE STRECHED OR NOT FUNCTIONING PROPER IT WILL HAVE LACK OF POWER.. OOR TO HIGH OF REVS...eradik idle aswell,.

Runs Great! but then either idles high or
so low it dies, but jump on it and take off runs perfectly.

Now I'm prob pushing my luck, but wonder how the 110 cdi trikes advance.
I really need to get thru some trikes and I can fit a ton of the little ones in the truck
for those beach dune trips.

ALSO in Some caSES THE TIMING CHAIN IN SOME ENGINES CAN BE STRETCHED ALMOST A LINK OUT ADVANCING YOUR ENGINE NOT TO RUN OPTIMUM SEEN THIS only a couple of instances..
