ytm225 carb slide

i need a carb slide for my ytm225 and cant find one anywhere. then today i found one on ebay but its for a 1985 and i have an 1983. Does anyone know if there the same slide or if it will work?

Dunno, but I am going to look and see if I have an extra. If so, you can have it. It will be for a 1985 but if it works you can keep it. Will look shortly and let you know.

as long as it's a 225, and a 29u carb it should be the same
