My $300 Tri-z

Ran when put away, has been stored in heated garage for 3 or 4 years. Actually I traded an ATC70 that I paid $300 for.

Great trade imo.... I recently picked up a 85 in what appears to be comparable condition. But, i paid $710. Which is still fair for a mostly original machine. You did GREAT!!!! I still feel that the Tri-z is the greatest looking 3wheeler ever made. :naughty:

Very nice find, but I see 2 problems
1 its got a twist throttle (why can you never find a Z with a thumber?)
2 Judging by the the worn paint on the kicker side, the kick lever cover may crack soon, they are notorious for that.
Sorry, just had to be a dick since I never find these deals,lol
Seein all these Z's makes me want one again, but I hate that under the seat fuel tank/fuel pump setup. I guess I could always mount an airbox tank.
Anyhoo, good find!

One of my customers seen the 70 in the bed of my truck, he knew I wanted his tri-z, an he wanted the 70 for his daughter. So he told me he wanted to trade, we works a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro ton and makes good money, so it was more of a convienience thing for him.

Hey tri-z pilot yes thats the one in halifax i was referring to. Idk i just couldnt see spending 900 for it by the way it looked in pictures. But who knows it may have ran great and in that case i would be the one missing out. Also booblinker that is a good deal and you gotta love getting kids into three wheelers. Thats how my dad got me started with a atc 70. I may have come across a steal tho with a 200x near me:) no one told me how addicting this becomes.

This thread has sparked my intrest in the tri-z. Triz-z pilot may find this funny but im going to look at that one in halifax after all. But its def going to take some work to get it as close to yours booblinker.

Hey Skid, I think I saw a better Z for $1100. I myself would rather have an 86 6speed with 85 colors. And also Skid, stay away from those PA 200xs!! We are apparently using the same CL and I have yet to find my steal of a 200x,lol

Well I am going outta town, so I had a buddy take it to his house to change oil, fuel, plug etc, since it has been sitting for a few years, he took a mouse nest outta the airbox, turned the fuel and it started after like 10 kicks.
