i just bought it tonight..
86atc 250r, water cooled... ITS A 86... thought it was a 85..
and it has a pro-link swingarm
chrome & polished alum. motor, swingarm, & chrome pipe
shaved head, bored 30 over
hot rod crank

problem is... the arm coming out of the block, where the clutch cable hooks on to, broke off.. it broke when the chain popped..

they rode it with no clutch, would give it a push, then click it into gear... runs fine, but makes a hideous grinding noise now... like the clutch basket is scraping or something...

also... bike looks mint, except for a torn seat cover

i'm trying my best for some pics...

now that i have this.... my 84 tecate project will just have to wait...

Why would someone buy a nice bike just to trash it like that? People can be wierd some times. But at least that gives guys like us a chance to buy a bike for cheap! ;)

yup...a new case, and fix the grinding noise, and i'll have a nice bike...

sorry for postponing my tecate project....

what will set me back further is that i'm selling my race truck, to buy a newer one... which will cost a few paychecks
