Hey everyone this is my first post so here it goes. This is my first 3wheeler build on my own. I had a little honda atc70 when i was a kid sold it and then got into dirtbikes. Now im 22 and when my shop manager told me his buddy was getting rid of his honda three wheeler for 70 bucks i had to jump on it. When we got there i saw a very old worn out trike that had been neglected for years. I said to myself if it runs then why not sure enough we got it pop started and she ran. So i gave the guy 70 bucks and went to work. Heres a list of things that i noticed were wrong with it right away. There were no brakes what so ever the front cable and assembly was still there but the lever was broken off. Then also the pull start was gone wich i knew i needed aswell. The seat was there but mostly torn up foam the muffler was missing it had two diffrent sized wheels and tires in the back and hubs for that matter the hub nuts that screw onto the axel were loose the front tire was going backwards since its directional the handel bar grips were duct tape and the chain tensinor was broken leaving the drive chain loose and there was no airfilter when i opened the box:( But i didnt let it get me down i went right to work and got a pull starter rebuild kit, some wheels from my buddy who had a parts trike and the right hubs, tires, handle bar grips, uni filter, muffler off the parts trike, a new brake lever cable and pads, new shock boots, front bearings, i sent the seat out to have new foam and a cover put on, and a new chain tensioner. After about a month of work and a bunch of new parts its good to go and starts up first pull. I still dont have rear plastics but tell me what you guys think of it. Next im hoping to score something a little faster maybe a 250r. ATTACH=CONFIG]130710[/ATTACH]130711130712130713130714130715130716

Thanks guys i appreciate all the feedback! Truthfully though this fourm helped me so much with shop manuals and all the info in other post. Do you guys think i should invest in the rear fender and paint it flat black aswell?? And yes ama009 brakes were a must im going to tackle the rear brakes nxt but downshifting was just still way to hairy to drive :0

Good looking trike, great deal. I would invest in plastics, might as well.

I think so too. See if you can find a rear plastic in decent shape on fleabay, or from someone here.

Thanks agin guys I really do appreciate it with this being my first build. And I think I am going to invest in the rear fender and paint it flat black to match. I really am just finding out how addicting this is I already want another one!
