1984 250r questions

Hey there everyone,

Bought a 1984 250r off a member here over the weekend, didn't get a chance to really work on it yet but I have a few questions because this is my first two stroke trike that I've owned!

We'll start with this one, what's the recommended break in procedure for the engine? It's freshly rebuilt out of the shop with zero time on it.

Also, I need an airbox. Would I be able to strap something like a K&N filter on there just to run it around (no trails yet) for now, or would that not be enough?

I'm going to be looking for a few parts, so if you read this and have any of this stuff, feel free to offer it up!
Looking for a:

-1984 250r chain
-Airbox
-Headlight
-extended rear axle (possibly)

I have airbox and lid for ya. You need to buy the chain and both sprockets at the same time so they will wear evenly.

I agree. I run an open air box on my 250r and I had to upjet.
