ill join the bandwagon. my $500 85 r!

well ive seen a few other guys post their find up so i figured i would post mine...it started about 3 months ago, saw a ad on craigslist for a 85 250r. he never had a picture up, i emailed him but never got a response. saw he kept refreshing his ad with no luck on selling it. so he dropped it down to 500 firm still with no picture. he finally put a picture up of the bike, and tried selling it for about a month again. i called a few times and left messages and never heard from him so i figured it was a scam or some kids playing games (as ive run into this before) well i called with no luck again, and emailed him, he messaged me back with a different phone number. i called him arranged to come look at it. saw it in person, and knew i had to have it. he was selling as non running as the carb was off of it. so i checked for spark it had it, and i kicked it over a few times, she had a ton of compression. so i bought it for 500 cash. got it home, did a quick cleaning of the carb, reset the float level, poured some fuel in, 3rd kick she roared to life. it runs fairly well, but am posting other threads about it bogging and not hitting full power band, so im trying to figure that out. and might have that problem nipped in the butt.....well here is my 500 dollar 85 r!

thanks man....yea i was surprised when he had it for sale for so long. i had actually given up trying to buy it. but then he gave me that different number and it was all history..he told me he kept getting calls and texts all the time for it, but noone would come look. i came with cash in hand and told him i wasnt a tire kicker. he bit on the deal. lol
