I have a 1985 atc 200x motor and my cylinder sleeve its cracked and chipped. Is it possible to use a 200m cylinder sleeve/jug? The only difference I can tell is the cooling fins are smaller on the 200m.

Yeah all the 200 top ends will swap with the exception of the 86-87 200x

Is it chipped down by the bottom of the sleeve? They like to run hot if they get bored out and the sleeve thickness gets slim. Hope the chip cam out in the oil!

I'm no 83-85 200X expert but they all run the oil up a head stud (where there is an o-ring) up to head for the cam etc, and it should swap just fine. Toss an XR200 cam in there for a little better performance but carb/jetting and exhaust changes make some pretty nice gains for short money.

I'd get myself a new Wiseco 10.25:1 piston for it and have it bored to match. Don't just swap stock for stock cylinders or it will only be a patch at best.......
