Went all thru this trike because it's as cute as a hood ornament
and will go anywhere.
Points, plug, valve adjust, non ethanol fuel,
total carb and tank cleaning.
Rear bearings and brakes.
Started with 1/2 pull, idled like a dream.
Let it idle for a while, shut it off and it wouldn't restart.
Ok drain the tank an go back thru the carb because it had stunning fat blue spark.
What else could it be except fuel prob.
Drained the tank, put the cap back on and gave up for the day.
Went out this am to start on it, loosened the gas cap and it wooshed
like it wanted to explode.
Bad cap vent. One of those older solid silver gas caps with no twist vent.
Can't believe I missed it, but then again, it wasn't real obvious with the tank full either.
