Just curious,

How many 3WW members out there have their significant other that rides trikes with them ?

There is nothing like having your girl with you when riding !

I've been teaching my girl how to learn a clutch on my 250r. We haven't really gone on a ride yet though. Still getting use to the clutch.

The smile on her face when she hits 2nd gear is priceless.
Plus she gets to pick the coolest trike for every ride and doesn't seem to question
when yet another one mysteriously appears in the herd.

A good excuse to load trikes for the dunes and stay at the casino for all you can eat
buffet.

I rode on the back of the 4wheeler with my girlfriend to her pond once. At least she's a very safe driver it took about 10 minutes to back it out of the garage and we never got out of 1st gear. Some girls can do pretty good when it comes to riding a atv/atc mines not one of them! On a side note I've seen guys that cant ride for crap be shown up by there old ladies and they always seem to rub it in there face worse then the rest of us guys do.

Its great to have them with you, untill they roll and flip backwards multiple times James. Hopefully my significant other I can teach to ride the trikes and be a good rider. It would be a blast.

How is lindsay doing on the sx's now?

Jason.

My wife pretty much hates my trikes, and my girls are too little to ride, and mom probably won't let them on anyway!

My wife has worked her way up from a KLT110 through a DR225 and currently has an 84 Big Red and I'm restoring a Tri-Z for her now... she also has a Blaster and rides bikes as well, she has 71 and 73 Yamaha AT 125's to herself and shares a KX80 and KLX140 with the kids... She loves it, but you cant force someone into liking something they have to like it on their own...

My current GF used to race dirt bikes. She is the fastest girl I have ever rode with. I really have to try in order to be faster than her on the trails.

I put her on my 200x out in the dunes and she was fed up with the lack of power quickly.

I put her on my precious 350x  and she had it pinned the whole time.

I remember looking over at my friend on his 87 Tecate, going very fast through a whooped trail on the side of an open dune area, directly behind him was my gf. The suspension on my low hour 350x was more than maxed and she was right on his ass like she planning on passing him.

She rolled it twice that day. She has been down graded to the 400ex until she can learn to respect her thumb throttle, and slow the f down.

It didn't work though, next dune trip we were on a nice ride; me on my 350x and her on the 400ex. I came down a big dune and veered to the right to avoid some people parked in the middle of the dunes with their kids. I was moving at a good pace and was surprised when i was catapulted forward and tackled by my own beautiful 350x.

Turns out I was in a race that I didn't know I was in. She was once again going way too f'ing fast and was about to pass me very closely when i veered to avoid the other riders.

Of course this was my fault. And even though she clobbered the back of my 350x, I was the one that hit her...

Lesson: be happy your significant other is slow.

Mine only rides Quads, bless her heart. There's some weekends my Vinsion sees more of her tail than I do. (clean version) . She loves playing in mud with the 4x4 and the big Mudlights, I guess size matters, no replacement for displacement. HEHEHE.

The girl I'm seeing absolutely loves to ride. I took her on the back of mine, it was great as she held on for dear life.......

Now she wants her own, I'm thinking my stretched suspended ATC70 until I can get her up to an SX.

Hell, it's hard enough to get a group ride in with the guys so why not put a smile on your girls face??.....

She bugs me all the time, "when are we going riding again!!" I'll definitely have to get her to NH this winter.

Nope....ride double up then stop the trike. Go for another ride.....then start the trike back up and keep riding.

That is cool! Way to go girls! My daughter loves the trikes, but she has to sit in front of me to drive as she can't reach the pegs. Started playing ice hockey this year as well. Now if only I could get her into ballet and calm the wife down...

My wife recently went on a ride out to the woods to snap some shots of me, the more we rode around to different ares, the more she realized the leaning & body english is similar to horseback riding, which she loves. When we got back home, she said she really enjoyed being a passenger & she'd be willing to get a trike & ride with me. I am stoked, to say the least.
These 2 shots are a couple years old, but I figured I'd post 'em up anyway.

I am lucky to have Mrs. Clean who LOVES to ride, she does not ride a trike but a TRX250r and loves the dunes as much as the trails.

Since the thread is "Trikes and Women" not just "Trikes and Wives" The other Woman who comes to mind that I don't think has been mentioned is atc-Lindsey, from what I understand she recently acquired an SX from Itrike and this 250R from Mr. Clean!!!

My G/F can stand with her full weight on the kick start and dosen't even move it. She is scared to death to ride even in 1st gear & low RPM. But, she does love when I take her for rides. I put her in front of me & cage her in. Otherwise she can't see anything (that & she dosen't trust me when she is on the back. Also, I am way too tall to be cramped in front. I need leg room).
