Rear Shocks

How would an first gen 200x rear shock do upside down? Trying to drop my trike project a little and I think a 200X rear shock upside down would work, Thoughts,? Resevoire and hose are well protected aswell.

It is not recommended to "flip" a shock, but give it a try and see what happens.

a shock is just a contained hydraulic system and they could care less which side is up or down

did you try taking preload off the spring first?
