84-85 T3 Green Fender Group Buy (details on page 2 )

Checking to see if there is any interest in a small group buy of the GREEN 84-85 T3 front and rear fenders.

I spoke with Mrs. Mosh and she was kind enough to include a small T3 order with the Tri-Z group buy, if we have 5 sets of green pre ordered. I am in for one set and we would need four more. I know there are a few guys who missed out on the last group buy and at the time I didn't even own a Tecate.

Let me know in this thread and I'll get with Tammy. She is in my opinion going way out of her way in doing this so if you say you want a set please be commited and not jack her around.

I'm not really sure on the price. I think the last time there was a group buy it was a little under $300 shipped for front and rear.

Here are the details directly from Mrs. Mosh:

Hi Bryan,
I looked up the cost on the last order we did.
It was $255.00 for the fenders, then once the plastic came in I gave everyone an exact shipping quote.
So I would need the $255 before I place the order. If there are 5 ready to go, I could probably just put that order in before the Tri-Z order. I will call them today when they open, to see if it is still ok to do a run of 5. I know it is ok with the Tri-Z order due to the number or pieces. But if I place it before, I just wanna make sure before I give everyone a deadline. Are they wanting to pay now, or do they some time to get the funds together?

i would be kinda wary about that, only because it could be a long time before the 5th person comes along. hopefully it wont take long but i have seen this happen before. but then in another way it would lock in the 4 of us that are willing or show who really is willing.

Ben, I don't want see you buy a set just because. I think that if this happens it happens and there is no need to be throwing money at this for no reason. Maybe this isn't the right time being that it was so close to the last group buy. Truthfully I thought there would be more interest than this, but I'm sure that most of the T3 owners participated in the last one and that is the reason for the lack of interest.

My build is far off so if you guys want to revisit this in a few months that's fine with me or if you wanna keep bumping this and see if we get any bites? That's fine with me also.

I thought the Idea with only 5 sets was because they were going in with the tri z order? and I would be buying two sets just because lol. The way I buy and sell machines and parts I'm sure they wouldnt sit too long. I guess give it some more time to see if anyone else steps up

I completely agree with the fact that a tecate should not be red. My first '85 has all the plastic spray painted black. Gas tank and all. this was not done by me....

Ben, my adress is about 10 miles from Lisbon.
Once that the Tecate reconstruction is in the beginning, and the fenders are only needed at the end, the delivery time is not very important even if it takes a month or two by a ocean liner.

Mrs. Mosh is being very helpful in order to help me find the best shipping cost, let's hope that she can find a better price.
