Hey guys,
I am looking into putting a set of crf 230 forks on the front of my bike. I was just checking to see what your thoughts were? I have a 1985 250sx with a 300 fourtrax engine in it. Forks are stock and don't ride very nice. I do alot of trail riding and want a little more action out of the front.

The crf 230 forks are 37mm in diameter where they mate the tripple tree and the originals are 34mm. Has anyone ever bored these before?? Just looking for some input thanks.
Tim

Too tall and you'd have to make triples with the correct rake. 200X forks slide right in, the SX rear end is useless even with an amazing front end...........

I had always wondered if a 300 fourtrax engine would bolt into a 200x/s. I had a 94 300 fourtrax and it would outrun all the newer 400's. I thought it was the latest bored out version of the 200 series.

id just buy 83 84 250r forks over bore the tripples and be done with it. those rear R's use alot of same parts.
