View Full Version : adjusting cam chain help

I have a honda 1982 110 atc and I can't find out how to adjust the cam chain. I've found the bolt under the foot peg but I can't find the proper one! help please, and pics would be very helpful to. P.S. I have the manual but I still can't figure it out :wondering

Its right by the gear shifter shaft . Loosen the nut a turn and back the slotted centered bolt out a turn and then retighten , doing all this while the motor is at a steady idle . Done . if its still making noise its time for a new chain .

You wouldnt happen to have a picture of it would you ( I know my leval of incompetence is amazing)

^ thanks so much! part of the reason I couldn't find it earlier was becuase it was compleatly covered in mud :haha: and the rest was pure stupidity.
