I've got an '84 200M that I cleaned the carb on last night. After I reinstalled it, the bowl wouldn't fill with fuel. I'm assuming either the needle is stuck or I sloshed some dirt over the petcock in the tank. Any suggestions.

My real question: Anyone know the stock setting on the pilot screw for this carb/bike?

The whole reason I cleaned the carb was because I'm constantly fouling plugs and I thought it was running rich. It doesn't use a drop of oil, but I suppose that could be the problem as well, but I doubt it. They foul real quick at slow speeds, so I think I'm rich on the pilot.

Anyways, thanks for any help.

Did you take the carb apart..if so you may need to disassamble again and check the float. If the float sticks it can cut the fuel flow to the carb.
I believe it is similar to the 185 and i think that is two turns out.

Thanks for the info.

Just took the carb apart and found my stupid assembly mistake. Should work fine now.

Next question (I think I'll post it as a new topic as well): I've adjusted valves on these engines before, but never on one without a kick-start. So, where is the timing mark access cover with the ripcord/starter assembly being on the left case like it is?

Should be on top right at the back of the pull start assy.
