Very short but I thought some of you might get a kick out of seeing these. I'm messing around with trying to get super slow motion to work without having a high speed camera.

First test I slowed the footage down by 97% which proved to be way too much. Lots of artifacts showing up.

Second one was slowed down by 80% which looks pretty good.

is it shot with the 50fps mode of the gopro and then slowed down in the software?

60fps and yeah. The software is a plugin for adobe after effects.

The light sabers are also done in after effects. They have to be done one frame at a time.

ok thanks for the info is this plugin for free? i'm gettin after effects soon want to try it. till now i shot slomo with my casio fc100 but only lowres p.s. (i'm using 50frames pal)

No it's not free and very expensive. After Effects has an effect called Time Warp that seems to me like it can do the same thing. Twixtor just has a couple of extra parameters to tweak. Sooner or later I'm going to compare the two and find out if twixtor is even really needed.

looking sweet, what are you using for a mount, i drilled a hole in the 3x3 plate the go pro comes on and bolted it to my front brake hose guide, from the video looks like your mounted in the same area, but mine shakes... like alot yours seems solid......?

Another member here on the board, Kasey, made me some custom metal mounts. That one bolts on using the front brake caliper bolt.
