1983 200X front brake line replace CR80/85?

Did the KX front caliper mod, with an 02 yz250f master/lever. But need to get rid if my spongy 28 year old front brake line, I was thinking of buying a used mx bike front brake line off flea-bay. measuerd a yz250f, 48" Mine is 30" I was thinking maybe a CR85 would be close? Anyone done this?

a cr85 one is looks real close by holding it there and is a braided steel one from factory

My 07 YZ250F front line is 48". I got a reply back from a ebay seller and he said his 2003 CR85 line is 46" ??? That seems wrong. I sent out a few more questions, so we will see, shoot I would have to coil it up at that length!! I can buy the line and the two AN banjo fittings for $30. A 91 trx200 master to splitter is 27" getting closer!! too short and too old

Just re-read your post, did you have a cr85 line for comparison?

That's a good price on that also. I'm thinking of getting one for my 200x even though my front brakes work fine
