Can you run a 88 250r swingarm on a 85-86 atcR

Like title says but the 88-89 250r has a solid front pivot for the swingarm bolt so the motor mount cant go through the swing arm on the 85-86 am I right or am I totally off

that is correct. you would have to cut the center out or not run the rear motormount... both options aren't good ones...

you would have to cut the center out or not run the rear motormount... both options aren't good ones...Or, option #3: Remove rear motor/swingarm mount & weld 2 motor mount tabs to the frame.
