What years did the 185s have a rear shock?

honda?
I have a 185 engine in an 'x' frame which was my first
chance of having full suspension a few years ago.
Other than the x or r models, I think rear suspension started with the 250
e, es. in 1985.
A fun thing to do is look at the original sales brochures.
I think they're on the front page of 3ww

The 185s never had a rear shock. The only way you could it it like that was to buy a bolt-on or weld-on aftermarket kit. Did you find a 185s with suspension or are you looking for one? I've got a nice frame with a weld on kit already on it if interested.

Did the 200s ever come with rear suspension?

I was looking for a cheap but mostly there rolling project and thought a 5speed manual Lifan engine with full suspension would make a good trail trike on a sport frame with the smaller tires and shorter wheelbase.

I also like the idea of a 185/200s auto-clutch engine in a 200x if I can find one that needs a motor.

The 200s never came with rear suspension either, unless it has an aftermarket kit on it.

Pat (Vealmonkey) has had some bad luck the last year or so. Not sure if he gets on here much anymore.
