Haven't picked it up yet, but why would the fender be rubbing the engine?

Hope the forks are just bent, think i paid a little to much if the frame is bent. But i know people and could have a straightened and gusseted if needed.

no biggie though, there are some cheap forks for it on ebay that are not bent.

Fixing a bent frame isnt that hard either. Most of the 70's have either a bent frame or forks. There isnt much support on them.

Monroe Mike, thx you very much. One of my 70's just developed this problem. I don't have a bottle Jack but I am sure I can make the axle Jack off my full size blazer do the same.

I use a scissor jack and a piece of 1x4 wood straight off the top of the motor , base of the jack on the head and let the scissor ride on the forks . Remove the front tire and fender and jack till its straight . The fender will have about a 1/2" clearance from the head when it's straight again .

The one I bought has a worn through front fender too! I had no idea that meant bent forks! That really sucks the bag.

Well this deal wasn't as good as I though, bent frame, and I'm a moron and typed byron instead of byron center, that about doubles my mileage, plus ill have to get a motel, after tax, auction fees, price of trike, gas, and hotel I'm going to have like 425-450 into it.

Damn, I need to start reading. Well I messed up and it was further away than i though, but just read more into them and they will transport it the their location that is like 20 miles from me for $40.

That auction place is literally in my back yard... Usually most stuff that goes through there is WAY over priced....
You bought it via auction without looking at it? Seriously.. if anyone wants me too, I can go there on the day before any auction and snap extra pix and / or give it a closer look over...

Yea hopefully I font regret it, but a complete atc70 for $300 after shipping is still a hood deal. But In the future I may paypal you cash to go look at stuff for me lol, You love by the ortonville or Byron center one?

Byron Center..... I've bought some stuff through them a few years back,,, kinda lost interest with other stuff taking up my time, but I've been trolling their listings as of late....
Usually any of their ATV stuff that pushes through there will need work - without question.
