Jack up? Perhaps your shock needs rebuilding... I know Warrior shocks bolt in, but not sure as to what is longer than that...

Crank up the shock nut or buy bigger tires.

Well, first you slide the jack underneath the rear end, and you take the lever, and slide it into the hole, then proced to turn the lever slightly to lock into place. Then, raise the lever all the way, then press the lever down all the way, do this a few times so you'll know you've placed the jack under the right spot. If so, continue jacking until it is at the appropriate height.
Make sure if you jack has one, that the dial has been closed so that the pressure can build up, otherwise you won't be able to lift up the Z.

Yeah the Warrior is the same length as stock unit. A Raptor rear shock is longer...some use the warrior link to lower the bike and add the longer shock. The rear of the Z will be slightly higher but more normal looking than with the stock link.
What does this do for the action of the link to the swinger to shock ratios???
NOT REALLY SURE:wondering...but it works from what others have said.
chazz...really, thats creative? Thats your idea of funny; I find most of your posts as pointless reading, that just waste space and time:lol:
:lol:Now thats funny!
I seem to remember 2001 year of the raptor 660 bolting on, but the resevoir hose is very short, but it also raises the ride height too. Not much, maybe a inch or so.
There are a 100 Z shock threads and I am sure your answer is in one of them.
There is a thread on here of someone doing the 2001 Raptor shock, but I did not find it.
Here is the discussion thread.

I bought a 2001 raptor shock for my 85 Z, it would not bolt on without modifying the link or swingarm. I guess it works better with the 86 swingarm. And yeah the resevoir hose was way to short so you can't keep the resevoir in the original location.

Yup, but laughing keeps the world happy and not throwing hammers at each other.
Here's how I see it, if I can't help, I'll atleast try and lighten people's spirits some, and laughing is key to that.
I could go around posting TL;DR after every post though............
