hey guys I'm new here and just bought my first atc. I'm not sure what it is though lol the back plastics are missing and I can't find any cc stamp on the motor and no vin on the frame. I do have some pictures though so if you guys could help me identify what it is I would really appreciate it. The guy I bought it from said it ran but he pulled the carb to put on another bike. Thanks again guys!

I'm kinda new, but I'll take a poke at it..decals look 1983 or 1984, but no suspension says none of the 200 models for those years, also no 185 was made in 1984...so
I say 1983 185s, I know that more experienced guys will correct me and give you the right answer if I'm wrong.
Not bad shape..how much?

it's an 81 or 82 185 the vin will be on the right hand side of the neck and the cc will be on the back of the cylinder towards the bottom

Good deal no matter what it was..now just a question. How did the guy lose the fenders/seat?
There are many in here with replacement parts for sale..find a member named 'bkm' (brian) and ask him if he has your fender and seats. Once you find out for sure the model and year of course.

Definitely a 185s Frame.

No 185 stuff at the moment. Lots of 350x crap laying around though. Thanks for keeping me in mind.

Maier has fenders for 185s models. $75 for front, $183 for rear:

IMO it's worth it, because you're polishing up a good condition trike that you will likely keep for years and years, and get lots of riding enjoyment out of it. Plus, you can still turn around and sell it for around $500 (if you get a good set of tires for it too). :)

Looks like a decent project. Change the oil, rinse out the tank and refill with fresh gas, clean the mouse nest out of the airbox and see if she starts!
EDIT: lol I just noticed the carb is missing..... so maybe it won't start with just that above. You can get a new carb on eBay. I have had good luck with them being bolt on and go.
