350x runs, nothing over 1/3 throttle

Starts decent, smokes like crazy, but has no power, and won't do anything over 1/3 throttle. Pulled the carb, everything seems clear. This is my buddies, I have a good running one I can trade parts just to check if that's it. Where should I start?

Start with the carb...makes sure the fuel line and filter aren't clogged. If it still does it with a good carb, check the vlaves for proper adjustment (or you can just verify this before the carb), then move on to the stator/coil/cdi...

Actually there is a lot of oil in the back dripping out the exhaust.

This may have nothing to do with it but
it's a cool jet chart.

What kind of oil is IN it now?

It may have been diluted like crazy from a leaking gas shut off.
or some special fancy expensive oil that doesn't belong in it.

Exhaust might be full of moisture, mouse nest hinted above. Thorpe.

is it really oil? or just black disgusting gunk.

I wonder if the super trapp could be full of junk causing it to clogg? Is that common?

Not really. Pull it anyways and make sure it's clear.

Also, blue-ish white smoke might be a sign that the rings are done for, and it's time for a rebuild.

I had this problem with my 1986. It would act like you are describing and after 1/3 throttle it would kill the spark. It turned out to be the cdi. I replaced that and everything ran fine.
