This was a really fun ride. Seriously thinking about setting up some kind of a time trial down this trail next year...

Great video! There's no depth perception on the helmet cam. Until you pointed out the difficulty and the size of the drops, it didn't look that difficult. Then on the way back up, you could really see the size of those rock ledges. That was some amazing riding on the R! I can't imagine riding that at all, let alone with a clutch!

You definitely have to be comfortable on the bike to do this type of riding...I've got all my levers and everything exactly where I want them positioned at and where its convenient for my stances. This sort of has me kicking around the idea of building a super-duper short and super-duper light weight 250R for some three-wheeler trials riding. Hmmm...:D

that would be awsome ride man if that ride materializes i'm in, the ol 200x would be right at home with them kinda trails she like rough rides. i have done lits of rides like that with my 200x up in MI, i liked it better then my 350x easier to move around.

I don't think iPad's support flash video which is what youtube uses.

Nice riding guys, I like to tackle that on my semi-auto rides like the 250sx. But trying to handle the clutching on that tricky terrain would be a major bltch!!!

Yeah, the clutch work is tricky on that trail. That's why I stalled my X. I just wasn't fast enough on the clutch. Total blast though, and a real workout especially on a big pig like a 350x. Teddy made it look easy on the auto-x.

my buddy and I ended up on one similar to this trail (if not this trail) late night after the shoe tree. Very intense ride to say the least. Just glad we made it through that night.

i bet a auto clutch bike would be a lot easier. if you set up a time trial i bet they will do well. like the 185 200 and big reds. my 185s is fun to climb over fallen trees.. although i am sure that rock is a lot harder on them.
