i was doing some searching on ebay for engine coolers with a temp gauge and came across one with a gauge and one with out one. so i figured i would ask you fella's if you guys have ever used them before or know if they work good or not? i want to get the one with the gauge on it but i wouldnt mind throwing the one with out the gauge on it as well since its pretty hot down here in the dirty south, or do you guys think it will be over kill or such to put both of these on my 86 T3 but in my head the cooler the better right? fill me in fella's on what you guys recommend?

Honestly, the only benefit I see is having the temp gauge.

I have ran the standard cooler on 250R's and Banshee's and I have never really noticed a difference in temps.

However, I run that Kool-Aid coolant and that does make a difference at least 5-10 degree's.

yep. i think they are for looks more than anything.. water passes through them to fast to actually do any cooling,. i am using one on a 70 for an oil cooler just for looks too,,,

Other than the bling factor, I noticed no drop in temps on my Banshee.
